Happy New Year!
I can't believe how fast time is going. It makes you think about all the things you meant to do or tried not to do. Well now is your time to make a difference, take a chance, share more, give more, love more or just enjoy your life just as it is. We are happy and extremely blessed to see a new year roll in. We hope that this year will be the beginning of greater things. In this new year, we plan to bring you more of the same things that you have learned to expect from The Manhattans. We will bring you more interviews with the individual members of the group, the band, and even some of the other artists that have or will be performing with The Manhattans. We will inform you of the events in and around your area, as well as, reviews of live performances. We are excited about all the upcoming events for The Manhattans.
Here is just a sample of some of the things The Manhattans have been working on. In February, The Manhattans will be appearing in a play entitled, "The Chicken Shack." The play is basically about a club owner who enlists the aid of some of her well-known friends to help save her club. Of course, that is over simplifying what she goes through (we don't want to give too much of the play away), let's just say you will not be disappointed with the actors or performances. We will be giving you more information about the play and the performers in the coming months. You can find out about the dates and the locations on the tour dates page located on this web site. Some of the other highlights are the Jubilee celebration in March at the National Voting Rights Museum in Selma, AL, and the Juneteenth festival in June at Franklin Park in Roxbury, MA.
As usual, The Manhattans are still finding ways to grow and expand without losing all the things we love about this group. Their mission above all else is to make their fans happy and to give a great performance each and every time. It's all a part of loving what they do. They work hard to make sure everyone has a good time and that the show is fun not only for the audience, but also for the members of the group.
For The Manhattans, the best is yet to come.
