William Harris  

Bill started his music career playing Clarinet in the School Concert Band from the age of nine until he was thirteen. Inspired by artists such as Stanley Clarke and Jermaine Jackson, he started playing the Bass at the age of fourteen. He studied privately at Mauro's Studio of Music and has performed in Night Clubs, Colleges, and Arenas across the country. Prior to playing for The Manhattans, Bill has played with several of Baltimore's top groups such as The Softones, First Class, The Vandals, and Panama to name a few. He is very versatile and is equally skilled in R&B, Jazz, Gospel and Funk. His goals are to become a successful entrepreneur and to maintain persistence in the Music Industry.
